Mrs. McCall’s class continues to learn about animal life cycles. During their library time, the students learned about an insect, a bird, and a mammal by listening to Wasps by Martha E.H. Rustad, Ducklings by Colleen Sexton, and Fawns by Anne Wendorff. Afterwards, the children participated in a fun activity. They hunted for 18 animals around the library and then sorted them into animal groups (insects, birds, mammals). Once they finished sorting, they earned the key to a locked treasure box and each student got to pick a treasure!
