Last week’s featured Chickadee Award nominee was Perfect Square by Michael Hall. In this creative picture book, a square is torn and transformed into many different delightful things over the course of a week. After the story, the kindergartners, first graders, and Mrs. Margoles’ students received squares of their own and were charged to use their imagination to create new things. The results were as different as their creators!
