CJL Open House

On Thursday, September 23, 2010, Carl J. Lamb School held its annual Open House. The library once again held a free book raffle.  Every student was eligible to receive four chances for the books of their choice. After the Open House, one ticket was drawn for each book. 

The kindergarten winners are Sailor (A Camping Spreewith Mr. Magee),  Alec (Big Wings), Sarah (Good-bye, Fireflies), Siarah (Sharks), Caysie (The American Heritage First Dictionary), and Ethan (Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie).  

The first grade winners are Cierra (Girl’s Best Friend) and Eric (Yu-Gi-Oh! Stumpers!).

The second grade winners are Jake (Draw 50 Beasties), Makayla (Halloween Punch-Out Masks), Dylan and Lane (each won Where Are They? Search and Find), and Sophie (Young Cam Jansen and the Library Mystery).

The third grade winners are Gaby (Cam Jansen and the Barking Treasure Mystery), Colby (Hatchet), and Nathan (The Little Fish that Cried Shark!).

The fourth grade winners are Josh (Vietnam War), Emma (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Julia (Pippi Longstocking), and Kaleb (The Yearling).

The fifth grade winners are Michael (Among the Brave), Elizabeth (The Akhenaten Adventure), Brooke (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), and Adriana (King of Shadows).

The sole sixth grade winner is Abigail (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).

Congratulations to all our winners!  We thank everyone who visited the library and participated in our annual Book Raffle.
