Students in grades K-2 finished casting their ballots for their Chickadee Award books on March 26th. The top two books are The End by David La Rochelle and My Dog is as Smelly as Dirty Socksby Hanoch Piven. The End was the favorite among kindergartners. My Dog is as Smelly as Dirty Socks was the most popular title among the second graders. The End and My Dog each received the same number of first grade votes. When all the votes are combined, The End is the overall winner at our school. Our votes have been submitted to the Chickadee Award Committee. The statewide winner will be announced April 16th.
