Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Stevens’ fourth graders are gearing to do their first “investigation” (research). To practice accessing information in nonfiction texts, the students are using a Table of Contents, interpreting graphs, and getting information from a chart. They are investigating dog breeds in the process.
