Fun with drawing books

truck drawing booktruck by AlexMany students enjoy checking out drawing books from the library’s wide selection.  The books range in skill level from easy to difficult.  Fourth grader Alex recently checked out Let’s Draw a Truck with Shapes by Joanne Randolph and drew a truck of his own.  Nice job, Alex!

Exciting author news!

Mural by K-2 students

Mural by K-2 students

Author/illustrator Carin Berger read the post about her book A Little Yellow Leaf  and asked for photos of the mural the K-2 students made.  She posted three photos of our mural on her Facebook page!  You can see all three by following this link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Carin-Berger/50414878866?ref=mf  You can also see our group collage in person when you enter the lobby of the school. The mural is hanging on the bulletin board at the end of the hall.  Take a look virtually or physically!  It’s a work of art!
