Pull tab

We delivered a very large load of pull tabs to the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) last weekend.  In response, we received this thank you email from Karla Prouty, the office Manager:

Thank you all so much for your wonderful donation of collecting lots of tab tops for the House.  Please know, your generous and continued support helps to ensure that we can provide a place for families to stay when they need it most!

Please continue to save pull tabs for the RMH.  We are happy to collect and deliver them!

Service with a smile

Going to the library before school (instead of going outside to recess) is an option.  Students can return library books, select new ones, read, use Destiny Quest, or chat quietly with friends.  Recently, early morning library visitors were invited to help with a service project.  The task was to make Saint Patrick’s Day place cards for the tables at The Lodges, an assisted living facility in Springvale.  Several students volunteered to color the pots of gold and rainbows and/or glue on the greetings and shamrocks.  Mrs. Miliano delivered the place cards to The Lodges on Friday, just in time for the wearin’ o’ the green!
