Colors all around

LET\'S GO VISITING by Sue WilliamsMrs. McCall’s class visited the library on Tuesday for a colorful storytime.  The children identified the colors and the fruits and vegetables in Bruce McMillan’s Growing Colors before reading about different colored animals in Let’s Go Visiting by Sue Williams.  After the stories, the children played several rounds of color bingo as a vehicle for practicing color identification.  They used the game boards they had made during a previous visit.

Colorful wood sculptures are currently on display in the library.  The delightful sculptures were created by the second graders under the direction of art teacher Joyce St. Pierre.  Students and staff alike have marveled at the wonderfully creative work.  If you are in the building, do stop in to admire the students’ hard work and creativity!
