Library Wall of Fame

In order to recognize the classes that have returned all their library books, we have created the Library Wall of Fame. Here are the classes are on the Wall of Fame so far:

·        Mrs. Carlisle’s Kindergarten

·        Miss Kimball’s Second Graders

·        Ms. King’s Fifth Graders

·        Miss Spinney’s Sixth Grade

·        Mrs. Sturtevant’s Third Grade

Last contest of the school year

The last library competition of the school year was estimation contest.  There were 125 smooth ocean rocks in the estimation jar.  First grader Jennifer Lansing’s guessed the exact amount.  She wins an autograph book.  Congratulations, Jennifer!

All library books due June 6th

As the end of the school year approaches, it is time to look for and return all library books.  Mrs. Carlisle’s class is the first to return all its books.  The Green Room earns the top spot on the library’s “Wall of Fame” which lists those who have returned all their library books.  Which class will be next?

Responsible library users honored

Recently, several classes filled their book return charts.  Each group received bookmarks and small prizes as a reward.  The classes earning recognition for being responsible library users are:

  • Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Sylvestre’s kindergartners (the Red and Orange Rooms)
  • Mrs. Carlisle’s kindergartners (the Green Room)
  • Miss Brown’s kindergartners (the Brown Room)
  • Mrs. Patrick’s first graders
