Responsible library users recognized

Mrs. Bemis’ first graders have earned their fourth prize for returning their library books on time!  IQ Mouse sent them a congratulatory letter and some trinkets as prizes for their accomplishment.  Congratulations, first graders!

Mrs. Gagne’s second graders earned the Golden Shelf Elf Award for the second time.  The award recognizes their efforts to be responsible library users.  The students get to display the award in their classroom for two weeks.  Each student also receives a bookmark and a sticker.  Keep up the good work, second graders!

Crack the code!

The most recent library contest asked participants to decode four words written using the maritime flag alphabet.  A copy of the maritime flag alphabet was provided and all the words pertained to the library.  One correct entry was selected and the owner gets to select a book ($2.00 value) from the CJL Bookstore.  Who is the lucky winner?  It is third grader Eva Belanger.  Congratulations, Eva!  Happy reading!
