Estimation Contest Results

Pumpkin seeds  This week the estimation jar was filled with 1,517 dried pumpkin seeds.  We were not surprised to find that no one guessed the exact amount, but we were delighted to discover that Miss Lachance, the computer lab ed tech extraordinaire, was mighty close.  She estimated 1,522 seeds, which is only 5 away from the actual amount!  Congratulations, Miss Lachance!  Four other contestants earn an honorable mention for their estimate of 1,500 seeds:  Mrs. Ferris, Mrs. Gibson, fourth grader Abbey S., and fifth grader Peter P.
